Teresa Klein is an attorney with over 14 years experience. After graduating from Georgia State University College of Law, Teresa started practicing law in the areas of Family Law, General Civil Litigation, and Estate Planning. After a few years working in the private sector, Teresa worked as an Assistant Solicitor in the Fulton County Solicitor's Office prosecuting misdemeanor offenses. Teresa then worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Barrow County where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases. In January 2008, Teresa moved to the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office where she worked as a prosecutor until December 2016. While in Gwinnett, Teresa prosecuted felony cases including Murder, Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, Theft, Drugs, and Sex Offense cases. Teresa also handled probation revocations, appeals, and records restrictions (expungements). Teresa spent several years as the Accountability Courts prosecutor in charge of Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Veteran's Treatment Court. Teresa went back to private practice in January 2017.
